How do I write for you?

Send an email to the above address with the subject line ‘Feature/Review Enquiry’ and detail your idea below along with a brief background on your writing experience. We want this website to be extremely relaxed in terms of what you can write about, so please don’t feel like your suggestion will not stand out! Also please note that you don’t necessarily have to have writing experience to be approved.

Is there anything you don’t consider appropriate to write about?

As long as your article can broadly tie in to a piece of media or art, we would consider it appropriate…However, Coffee and Kino would like to make it abundantly clear that we don’t accept any hateful, bigoted, or discrimnatory write-ups and opinions about anyone. If you pitch any such idea, you will be be blocked :) thanks :)

Do you pay for reviews/features?

Currently, no. We don’t currently have any plans to add any advertisements or make this website a paid venture and don’t currently have the means to pay anyone for articles. This is more of a shared blogging space on art if anything.

We eventually would want Coffee and Kino to become community space where you can rely on people for support on ideas, career ventures, and references. Down the line, we have plans for a Discord and would like to organise group film viewings, online chats, festival trips, and more!
